NCB Chicago once again showed it's left-wing peacock colors today; reporting that the best thing for Illinois Republicans would be for Obama to win in November.
NBC Chicago's unbiased "analysis" is that any Republican running for governor in 2014 will "have a better chance of winning the governorship if Obama is re-elected," because "it's a well-known fact" (says NBC) that the party out of the White House does better in mid-term elections."
Nice try...but Illinois has often been the exception to that rule. In fact, despite the Blagojevich scandal, Rod's Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn beat Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady in 2010 - a mid-term election.
Good try NBC.
