NASHVILLE - First Lady Michelle Obama's recent comments at an African Methodist Episcopal Church in Nashville Tennessee is stirring controversy in its aftermath. Ms. Obama encouraged worshippers to be involved in American politics.
Interesting that the Obama Administration has declared all out war on worshippers that hold religious beliefs with which they don't agree. But the real question is - were her political comments appropriate in church? "We should have something to say about the laws that rule our lives," Obama said, listing the need for better schools, better jobs and the need for rich people to pay their fair share of taxes.
"While we're tuning out and staying home on election day, others are tuning in," - raising money and influence, leaving ordinary citizens to feel powerless. "We are not helpless nor hopeless," she said. Video below:
