WHEATON - The Daily Herald's political reporter Robert Sanchez picked up Adam Andrzejewski's revelations about spending among Milton Township staffers and asked the question about Ralph Hinkle: Is he Milton Township Supervisor Chris Heidorn's political crony or a valued employee?
And should Ralph Hinkle's credit cards and government-funded cell phone be taken away?
All these are hot topics among Milton Township employees these days, and Ralph Hinkle doesn't sound too intimidated in Sanchez' story. He defended his work setting up an emergency response team and the resources Milton Township provides for the job.
Andrzejewski doesn't see it the same way. The more taxpayers are demanded upon in economically unstable times, the crankier they get. Taxpayers are funny that way.
