It's now been revealed that James Holmes, the alleged gunman in the Colorado theater shooting, was living off the government as a recipient of a grant from the National Institutes of Health, which is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
DHS gave Holmes a $26,000 stipend and paid his tuition for the program in Neuroscience at the University of Colorado in Denver. More HERE
