SPRINGFIELD – The politically correct, anti-bullying bill that failed to pass the Illinois General Assembly this year may get another chance according to WJBC.
Democrat State Sen. Heather Steans (photo right), the Senate sponsor, says she will bring the bill back during the November Veto Session.
Steans inferred that fellow Republican legislators are bigots, claiming that unnamed "conservative" lawmakers voted the proposal down as part of an anti-gay conspiracy.
Steams says she plans to call the bill in November regardless of whether lawmakers are in session, and will no doubt bully it through the state legislature using similar, name-calling, tactics if necessary.
