IL GOP Platform could change on gambling

The IL GOP platform could change dramatically on the issue of gambling if Andy Blankenbaker of Galena's proposal is accepted by the IL GOP's platform committee Friday afternoon, Illinois Review has learned. Reports from members of the platform committee say that Blankenbaker is planning to propose a "softening" of the party's strong stand against the expansion of gambling.
