The American Conservative Union (ACU), URF Right Nation and The Heartland Institute announced today that Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell will address CPAC Chicago on June 8.
“Governor McDonnell has shown the stark contrast between small government, conservative solutions and expansive, liberal policies in the Commonwealth of Virginia. While other states around our nation’s capital raise taxes, Governor McDonnell has helped Virginia reign in its out of control spending and developed a host of new projects to improve Virginian’s standard of living while giving them a leaner, more effective government,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “We are proud to welcome Governor McDonnell to Chicago this summer as conservatives take the fight for the future of our country directly to President Barack Obama’s backyard.”
