CHICAGO - Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) endorsed the re-election of Jesse Jackson Jr this weekend at Rainbow PUSH. Jackson, who is now being investigated by the House Ethics Committee concerning his efforts to succeed Barack Obama as Illinois' U.S. Senator, is in the midst of a heated primary.
Debbie Halvorson, once a congresswoman representing Illinois' 11th CD, is now giving Jackson his first serious primary challenge in the newly-drawn 2nd CD. NBC Chicago caught up with Halvorson to get her reaction to Pelosi endorsing Jackson.
