Former Alorton Mayor Randy McCallum Sr. pleaded guilty Friday to stealing $1,000 from the village and trying to deal crack cocaine.
McCallum, 46, who resigned Feb. 13, pleaded guilty to four federal charges and agreed to cooperate with federal investigators. He admitted attempting to possess and distribute crack, theft of the $1,000 from the village, attempting to provide a controlled substance to an inmate and lying to a federal agent.
