What they said about Blagojevich in 2002

CHICAGO - If you wonder sometimes how things slipped so far downhill in Illinois, let's give credit to where credit is due - at least in part.  Here's what powerful media voices in Illinois' political hierarchy wrote about the now-convicted, soon-prison-entering former Governor Rod Blagojevich in October 2002.
