SPRINGFIELD - Presidential candidate Rick Santorum filed petitions in Illinois Friday before Friday's 5:00 PM deadline, and although Santorum will not have delegates on the GOP ballot in every congressional district, the list includes notable Illinois conservative activists with a hefty amount of conservative grassroots influence. Among those Santorum supporters listed on the Illinois State Board of Elections website are:
1st CD - Freedom Journal Magazine editor/former candidate for Lt. Gov Eric Wallace, Jennifer Wallace and homeschool veteran leader Gina Danaher - delegates; former Concerned Women for America state director Karen Hayes and Bremen Township GOP's Sandra Czyznikiewicz
2nd CD - Education activist - writer Ceasar Le Flore, Illinois Family Institute Executive Director and Will County GOP precinct committeeman David Smith, Monee Village Trustee Jay Farquhar - delegates
