Tuesday night on Fox News Sean Hannity show, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin said that the current vetting that's going on between the Republican presidential cadidates is producing better candidates to face President Obama in the fall. Palin said the candidates are getting better and better at each debate, and that the process needs to continue.
"We don't want an October surprise," Palin said, saying more information needs to come out about the candidates' business dealings - assumedly that of primary leader Mitt Romney, who's been criticized about his Bain Capital dealings.
When pressed about this Saturday's South Carolina GOP primary, Palin told Hannity,"If I lived in South Carolina, to keep this thing going, I'd vote for Newt."
Last week, Palin's husband Todd endorsed the former House Speaker Gingrich.
