Some Illinois legislators wish to ignore the major issues confronting our state and focus on additional ways the government can control our lives. For example, state lawmakers are now trying to make the use of indoor tanning illegal for anyone under 18.
But tanning salon (read: small business) owners object. "To say you're going to ban tanning is silly. Because that's saying you're going to ban people laying by the pool," says tanning salon owner Chris Hartman.
Makes sense. After all, it's a woman's right to choose, isn't it?
