NEW YORK - The tax increase will be used to "pay bills" and "invest in brain power," Illinois' Governor Pat Quinn said today on MSNBC's Morning Joe. He's in New York for the Democratic Governors Association meeting.
Quinn also announced that the revived Dodge Dart will be built here and that Illinois increased exports by 32%. Why then were one of the only states in the union to have unemployment increase while the rest of the nation headed in the opposite direction?
