Remember this Dane Placko report on "Madigoons" back in March? Well, Speaker Mike Madigan's "Madigoon" Shaw Decremer has re-appeared in the Illinois State Board of Elections' reports.
Here's where Decremer showed up most recently:
As lately as October 11, Decremer was paid by Friends of Mike Madigan to manage Michelle Mussman's bid to fill Republican-turned-Democrat Paul Froehlich's open seat. While Mussman has insisted in numerous mailings that she's independent and leaves out any references to her party loyalties, she's growing more and more beholding to the Speaker as his financial assistance mounts.
Republican attorney Ryan Higgins is polling well in the 56th House district and appears to have a very good chance of gaining back Froehlich's seat for Republicans in November.
Maybe that's why Madigan sent the Madigoons in?
