The party of no should object to the seizure of our liberty and the shredding of the Constitution! You libtroll, are a detestable enabler of thieves (such as Nancy Piglosi, Banshee of The House.)

How dare we object to socialism!!!!!!

when I was watching that idiot try to shout down Boxer I was reminded how fascist protest did the same thing right before they came into power.
GOP tactics are disgusting.

Liberal trolls trying to change the subject is what's really disgusting.
Sam's right. The frustration they're expressing on the House floor is justified. Only those who have no concerns about losing liberties, going bankrupt, stealing our children's fortunes and having government intervene in our most personal decisions are excited about this legislation.
The only comfort is that this is a long way from becoming reality.

Wow what a sad, sad day for this country. I guess the country I loved is no more. The only solace I have is I do have a choice on if I will participate or not.

If the senate passes it I wonder if a court challenge on grounds of this bill being unconstitutional could be mounted?

I agree it is unconstitutional, but so is the Federal funding of public education.
My question to those wiser than I, is how do you gain standing to bring about a challenge?

I have no desire to bite Jerry Springer's popcorn making mother (or Will from NY or any of the other pen names used by the libtard troll.)
I don't know how one could attain standing to mount a challenge, but I have heard that challenges are likely.

The only way to mount a challenge is to take the majority away from the Democrats in 2010 and repeal this travesty.

I think if the Federal funding of abortion is brought in you might then have standing to bring a case on the grounds that it is in direct conflict with you Freedom of Religious expression (assuming you are Catholic or some religion that prohibits the slaughter of human life)). But I am not a lawyer. Maybe one with some knowledge can comment.
