Only one problem - according to Lauri Hakanen, superintendent of North Chicago Community Unit Schools District 187...the district employs only 290 teachers.
Notes the Trib: the Obama administration is saying that it's directed $1.25 billion to Illinois schools, which has saved or created 14,330 school jobs in the state. However, according to a Tribune analysis of district-by-district stimulus spending and other state data, "those statistics...appear riddled with anomalies that raise questions about their validity." More here.

Gosh...Dear Leader lied to us? SAY IT AIN'T SO!

This is simple stimulus math, people. North Chicago had -183 teachers, obviously too few to get the kids taught up to ISAT standards BTW. Only because of Arnie and the stimulus did they get the needed money to hire 473 teachers, leaving them with the current 290 teachers on the job.
What don't you get about this? Oh, and Arnie and the stimulus get A's...
