B. Hussein Obama’s second biggest lie is the one he has repeated ad nauseum all year about his plan to take over the health care system: “if you like your coverage you can keep your coverage.” His biggest, and most dangerous lie, “I wake up every day thinking about how to keep the American people safe, and I go to bed worrying about keeping the American people safe.” You can watch him recite this obviously memorized falsehood here.
To any Obama supporters who may think that it’s too harsh to speak truth to power by saying “you lie!,” please consider only the following two recent pieces of compelling evidence:
The surreal shout out from last Thursday after learning of the Foot Hood massacre by a known Islamic fanatic; and the bizarre refusal of OOO (Oval Office Occupant) to not only not acknowledge that the actions of Maj. Hassan, a self-acknowledged “Soldier of Allah,” are a treasonous terrorist attack on our country, but to adopt the risible Lame Stream Media “what in the world could have caused this unpredictable tragedy?” meme.
Now for the latest example of the colossal mistake it was to allow a reckless radical leftist, repulsed by the concept of American exceptionalism, and with contempt for American values, we have this terrific news,
Khalid Sheik Mohammed -- the self-proclaimed mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks -- and four co-defendants will be tried in federal court in New York instead of a military commission, a federal official said early Friday.
Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, accused of orchestrating the bombing of the USS Cole when it was docked off the coast of Yemen in 2000, will be tried at a military commission, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the decisions have not yet been formally announced by the Department of Justice.
The long-awaited decisions on prosecution, part of President Obama's quest to close the military detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, do not affect the vast majority of the 215 prisoners held at the prison. They come on the same day that White House counsel Gregory B. Craig, a key manager of Obama's Guantanamo Bay policy, is expected to announce his resignation.
Mr. Craig is apparently taking the fall for not being willing to bring more of America’s enemies to our shores where they can re-enact that cool Moussaoui trial. Remember that? It was one of those classic “fish out of water” shows. Jihadist maniac hell-bent on murder, mayhem and making war on the Great Satan ends up on trial in an American court room. Hilarity ensues!
The good news is that Mr. Craig is being replaced by the husband of FOM (Fan of Mao) Anita Dunn.
I couldn’t help but notice that the Obama administration has decided to try these five scumbags in New York instead of Virginia. Either would have been available, since as some of you may remember, on 9/11 one of the planes crashed into the Pentagon. Virginia has the death penalty, and more important, as we saw this week, the cajones to actually carry it out. New York does not.The choice of venue was no doubt just a flip of a coin. If asked, perhaps Pres. Sham WOW, who has conveniently left the country on the latest leg of his apology tour, will shrug and suggest that the questioner call Eric Holder, as he did when his administration decided to engage in a banana republic-like criminalization of policy differences it has with the previous administration. That’s where we are, kids: those who fought the headchopping maniacs and kept us safe for over 7 years can be tried in the same court rooms with the terrorists.
At his trial, perhaps KSM could call Valerie Jarrett’s hearthrob, former Obama “environmental advisor” Van Jones as a witness. Mr. Jones could present a dramatic and compelling exposition of “9/11 truth” sufficient to raise enough reasonable doubt for an acquittal. If not, and if the ACLU, ACORN, and the rest of the fellow travelers trying to destroy our country are unsuccessful in getting him set free, he will no doubt enjoy many years joining the many other Islamic fanatics using our prisons to grow their cancerous movement. Meanwhile, he can become a cause celebré for the same Hollywood pea brains, and leftists like Van Jones who continue to press the ridiculous and revolting case for releasing cop killer Mumia.
If any Obama voters have wandered over here, I ask: is this what you voted for? Let me rephrase that. This IS what you voted for, whether you knew it or not. Like the Foot Hood shootings, it was completely predictable, but you were too busy focusing on the man-god’s preternatural wonderfulness to notice. Are you sorry yet?
