When the White House released its list of visitors from January to July this year, several very familiar names showed up (more about that on IR later), but the SEIU's president Andy Stern topped the rest with 22 visits with Obama.
Stern hyped up the crowd of protesters at the "Showdown in Chicago" against the American Bankers Association's annual meeting this week. Despite Stern's rhetoric, only a handful of banks represented at the conference were bailout recipients. The rest are struggling to stay afloat. But you wouldn't know it by listening to the SEIU's national president.
