When I spoke at the Homer Glen Tea Party last Saturday, I mentioned that I had written to my Congressman, Dan Lipinski about his very disappointing vote in favor of Barack “I don’t want big government” Obama’s job and liberty killing cap and tax bill. Now, I have another question for him.
This report, which aired Friday on ABC suggests the stunning reason, our tax dollars are being--wait for it--wasted. Signs with the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act logo are plastered at stimulus-funded construction project sites around America. The costs of these signs -- some of them reaching into the thousands of dollars -- are drawing sharp criticism from one member of Congress.
"The folks who support the stimulus package, basically this administration, want to get out there and blow their own horn with taxpayers' money," said Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H. "I mean, they have a lot of campaign money. Why don't they use the campaign money? "

The Dear Reader’s cult of the personality, like that of all other pathologically narcissistic megalomaniacs rulers, relies on endless stagecraft to sustain the rabid, mindless obsessive worship of the ignorant masses and to distract the increasing number of sentient citizens who are starting to catch on to the game. Witness the recent health care town hall, which featured an audience of union Obamabots asking “questions” pre-screened by the White House.
He Who Walks on Water has always shown a passion for self-adulatory signs, such as his faux Presidential seal, which I’m sure he didn’t know made him a ridiculous laughingstock to those of us immune to his alleged charisma and irresistible charm. And who can forget those ginormous placards plastered all over the Illinois Tollway trumpeting the “open road” booths as the personal accomplishment of Rod Blagojevich.
Unemployment continues to climb, despite the essential “stimulus,” which has worked so well, it’s no wonder the man-god and his brain trust are considering a second one. Their strategy for treating our sick economy is the equivalent of the ancient protocol of bleeding the patient, complete with leeches, this time in the form of unions, political cronies and other democrat mascot groups. Congressman Lipinski, how much did this sign cost and how much of the “targeted” and “timely” “stimulus” cash did we spend to glorify the Dear Reader?

Well it must suck that the Dems know how to advertise the stimulus projects...
but lets ponder if the GOP made signs..
"Your son's and daughters could be working on this project but we sent them off to die for lies..."

"Got no insurance? tough sh*t"
"White is right"
"Recession, poverty and spying on US citizens brought to you by today's GOP"
"Got answers? send them to GOP we need them"

Thank you for the gratuitous injection of racism! Where would the left be if they did not manufacture racial strife?
The Dems foster poverty so they can grow their base of zero liability voters and broaden their control... but they are the party of compassion, right?

I've seen two defaced signs thus far, one with a 8.5" x 11" sticker that said "Yeah! With our f*^#ing money!" and one spray painted with white paint spelling out
"Lies!
Lies!
Lies!"
in way big letters! We should all get creative with these signs!

the dems foster poverty? really given the fact the under a GOP controlled presidency and congress more Americans fell into poverty than in any time period for any administration... but lying seems to be a strong conservative talent. The only thing the GOP fostered was the rape and pillage of the american economy and worker by corporate and wall street greed... The screw you mantra of the conservatism: "I'm OK the hell with anybody else"... a very Christian way of thinking..lol.
there is a reason why only 21% of Americans self-identify as republican... Why Palin's own son is not a Republican?... out of touch, self serving, and damaging the country is the new course of the GOP. Anti-intellectualism has gotten you candidates as dumb as dirt.
and its not racism to discuss facts... the GOP suddenly needs to protect the downtrodden white man from the big bad minorities with college degrees and opinions.

The Dems require poverty in order to redistribute wealth in proper vote purchasing manner. Or do you disagree with the taking from one to give to another?

And the GOP takes hard earned money from American citizens and redistributes it to corporate America.. so corporate America can take that money and invest it in India and China...
Its was under the GOP that 1 trillion in retirement benefits just went poof... don't worry AIG took it all an gave it out to its foreign entities...
Why is it ok to "redistribute" our wealth to corporate america for nothing... literally nothing while its bad to to provide health care and a decent life out of poverty to American citizens.
The GOP has ZERO regard for people...ZERO. Which is why most people have ZERO regard for the GOP.
