Rockford, IL (June 22, 2009) - Republican primary candidate for U.S. Senate, Robert Zadek, will host introductory press conferences in Chicago and Springfield Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Conferences start at 10am in the Sheraton Chicago Hotel, 301 E. North Water Street followed by a 4pm presentation in the Springfield Capitol Press Room.
Zadek recently hosted a campaign kick-off in his hometown of Rockford. The event was attended by over 200 supporters and covered by every media outlet. Zadek has been traveling the state garnering support for what will prove to be a massive grassroots effort in support of his candidacy and his flat tax proposal.
Robert Zadek is a pragmatic businessman with ideas and solutions for the country. "The U.S. Senate has insufficient leadership for the tasks at hand," Zadek said. He offers a flat tax proposal on income of 11.1% that would eliminate our budget deficit and help restore the economy. Federal income taxes are now paid on a varying percentage; the flat tax will have one percentage applied to all. "This method of taxing will help reduce the size of the federal government, equalize the tax burden and stimulate the economy," Zadek says.
Professionally, Zadek is a veteran with a broad business background in finance, accounting, management, manufacturing, real estate, land planning and development. Highlights include:
