Fifty years ago "liberals" and "progressives" used to pride themselves on their tolerance for dissenting points of view. No longer.
Campus lefties at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill shouted down former Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo and prevented him from speaking because they say his opposition to illegal immigration is the same thing as "hate" speech and the infantile student Gestapo will crush "hate" speech. They of course are the ones who get to define what speech is "hate" speech. Tancredo is guilty of "hate" because he wants immigration laws to be enforced.
