I recently read an article written by this hardcore feminist who was talking about how society needs to start using he/she terminology when talking and writing, as the people who use it are a severe minority of “freedom fighters” and it should be more prominent in common conversation. What? So let me get this straight, you want ME to start being politically correct by using MORE wording than is actually needed JUST for the sole purpose of not offending YOU?
My answer: No.
I hate Feminism. Why? Because I’m not a moron. Equality my ass. There is no way we can ever have absolute gender equality because men and women will ALWAYS have physical and sexual distinctions that will create some kind of inequality between the two. We are built differently. So freaking what? Quit addressing the not so big deal about the differences between men and women. Or should I start writing “women and men” to show how gender savvy I am?
Why should I start being politically correct and walk on eggshells just because some interest group that gets funded by corrupt politicians whines about it? I refuse to. Why? Because they aren’t about equality and freedom for women, gays, animals, etc. If they were, they wouldn’t be treading on my constitutional right to free speech. It’s completely beyond me how they can sit there and push their agenda in my face, but they can’t respect my right to having my own opinion. Who are you to say what is and isn’t offensive? Last time I checked, the “right to not be offended” wasn’t in our constitution, so stop the madness.
I can say what I want, WHEN I want. Why should I have to change my ways just because the Dykes on Bikes are up in arms over the fact that I say “You guys” when addressing a group of people who are not just of the male gender? That’s right, I wrote “dykes”. Are you going to get offended? Or are you going to realize that America isn’t a battlefield where you can dictate who can say what? If you have any intelligence at all, you will pick the latter of the two.
Then there’s all this talk about how men think they’re superior to women, as if this wasn’t a free country where one couldn’t believe any ridiculously ignorant thing they want. Welcome to America morons, there will ALWAYS be ignorance and sexist ideas. That is what makes our country so great. You can think you’re right, and so can I, even though you will eventually realize that I’m right. That being said, I am just gonna be honest with everyone: each gender thinks their gender is better. Why? Because we’re a competitive species. We want to win. I’m a guy, of course I think my gender is more awesome. But do I get a television channel specifically dedicated to my personal tastes and ideas that make me feel empowered? Of course not, that’s sexist. But by all means give women at least 2 channels on digital cable completely dedicated to showing movies about women getting beat up by a Gary Busey look-alike for 2 hours. Yeah, that’s equality at its finest.
Don’t forget about women in pornography! I can still remember arguing with this girl back in high school on this issue. She kept complaining that porn degrades women and shows them as sex objects, to which I replied that the women in the porn industry are there BY CHOICE. It’s not degrading if they want to be ravaged at online by teen boys across America every day. This leads to my point about common sense and responsibility in the common American. If people can’t realize that porn isn’t real life and normal women don’t throw themselves at you in any public or private place, then you have a problem and need to start dealing with reality. This goes along with sexual addiction as well. If you need help, seek help. It isn’t the government’s job to feed, bathe, and clothe you. You are perfectly capable of taking care of yourself, so do so.
And what is this about men getting into more accidents than women? Every time I pass by an accident on the side of the road, it almost always involves some incoherent cougar driving home from the bar at Chili's in her Suburban. It’s ridiculous to have a “Penis Tax” based on statistical evidence that my gender is more reckless. I should whine and complain about it and get the ACLU involved, but they don’t take white male cases, so I guess I’m screwed.
Modern feminism is just a petty game that has absolutely nothing to do with preserving freedom and has absolutely everything to do with a false sense of self entitlement. It perpetuates the division within our society by segregating people into groups that normally wouldn’t exist. That has been my biggest complaint about feminism, as well as the radical black movement and it’s politics. We don’t need to be constantly reminded that America hasn’t been perfect. But unfortunately, if you speak out against these radical Leftist groups, the reticle is aimed at you and the trigger is pulled, all because you realize that true equality is the right to use human potential.
To conclude: Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina. Get over it and let’s party.
