550 was the estimate of Illinois and McHenry County Libertarian Party Chair Dave Brady at Crystal Lake's TEA Party. Organizer Jim Thompson, a Republican precinct committeeman in Crystal Lake, expected 50. The intersection of Route 14 and South Main Street is the busiest corner in the McHenry County town.
There was even a protest of Democratic Party Governor Pat Quinn's 50% income tax hike proposal.
