Next week's "Bleep-gate" episodes

Illinois political junkies are sure to be psyched next week when Illinois' "Bleep-gate" saga continues.

"Hot Rod" (otherwise known as Governor Blagojevich) and his attorneys Ed "Ironsides" Genson and Sam "Wild-eyed" Adams are expected to file a motion by January 4 to stop the release of any of those saucy phone and campaign office conversation tapes.

The plot's villain and all-around kill-joy, U.S. Attorney Patrick "Elliot Ness" Fitzgerald, has asked for the federal court's permission to release a few of the bleep-saturated tapes to the House Special Investigation Committee, run by another of Hot Rod's arch enemies, Democratic House Speaker and State Party Chairman Michael "My Boy" Madigan.

Madigan's front girl -- the smokin' State Rep. Barbara Flynn "I-Vant-to-be-alone" Currie -- requested the tapes for the committee to hear first hand as part of determining whether they should move forward with impeachment proceedings on Governor Hot Rod.

It gets better...

In the meantime, Hot Rod shifts into high gear and appoints long time ally Roland "Trailblazer" Burris to fill soon-to-be-sworn-in-as-leader-of-the-free-world Barack Hussein Obama's vacancy in the U.S. Senate.  The U.S. Senate President Harry "Stinkin' Citizen" Reid says no way, Trailblazer's not blazin' that trail in my U.S. Senate, and threatens armed guards to block Burris from being sworn in on Tuesday.  Hot Rod and Trailblazer say,  "Oh yeah, well, we'll see about that..." and pull in former Black Panther Bobby Rush to stir up the ranks.

That same Tuesday, in the Illinois state Capitol,  Hot Rod could face the sweet revenge of "My Boy" Madigan, who's House Democrats will say his stunt with the Trailblazer made ousting the governor more urgent than ever, and the boys and girls of the House special committee may vote to dump this whole mess on Rod's longtime ally Illinois Senate President Emil Jones.

That's when the plot will thicken...will Hot Rod rev up his mo-jo and get Ed "Ironsides" Genson and Sam "Wild-eyed" Adams their day in court or at least in the Illinois Senate?  Will Elliot Ness Fitzgerald allow House members to peek into his secret evidence stash?  Will Trailblazer burn his way into the U.S. Senate?  Will "Stinkin' Citizen" Reid call off his lynchmen?  Will President Emil "Mumbles" Jones impeach his old buddy Hot Rod?  Will Bobby "Panther" Rush gang up with Bill "Weathermen" Ayers to bully Trailblazer into the U.S. Senate?  Will Barack Hussein Obama ride off on his white stallion, unscathed to take on bigger challenges?

Stay tuned -- for the next episode of "Bleep-gate"
