-- ILLINOIS REPUBLICAN PARTY EVENTS POSTPONED: Illinois Republican elected officials and candidates, Illinois Republican Party (IRP) Township Chairmen, IRP Ward Chairmen, IRP Precinct Committeemen, and IRP Precinct Captains were anxiously awaiting details on IRP meetings and luncheon which had been scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, December 13, at the Bolingbrook Country Club.  The IRP County Chairman Association meeting was to start at 10:00 AM, the IRP State Central Committee (SCC) meeting was to start at 11:00 AM, a luncheon was to start immediately following the SCC meeting, and the proposed agenda was to include presentations by candidates for the RNC National Chairman position.   But, the meetings and the luncheon have been postponed. - Dave Diersen
