Wade and Agar did not get Obama Memo
by Rosanna Pulido
After a whirlwind Friday morning, one can only surmise that our Hometown Heroes, morning drive conservative darlings Don Wade and Jerry Agar of WLS did not get the memo floating around conservative TV and Radio stations throughout the country. The memo states that Obama is Expanding Ban on Free Speech..THIS MEANS YOU! Both Don and Jerry should not feel bad though, they are not the only ones who did not read it. Neither did Sheriff Scott in Florida and now he is under investigation.
As fate would have it, Mike Flannery from CBS 2 news, chief fruit inspector and Guru for the Obama Free Speech ban and Truth Squad was on his toes. Would you believe, upset folks wrote to CBS 2 to report and complain about Don Wade and express their despair! And Mikey Flannery being the astute political reporter he is, made sure it made the Friday evening news.
Mikey's CBS Channel 2 Spin machine concocted the notion that Don Wade started to back pedal about his statements on the air concerning Obama and the main stream media. Actually Mikey needs to listen a little closer next time. Don Wade repeated himself for those who misconstrued what he said the first time. He did it out of politeness Mikey, for folks like you who tremble at the mere voice of Obama and are part of the Obama delusion.
Milt Rosenburg at WGN radio probably did not get the memo either, "WGN radio gave right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears," Obama's campaign wrote in.
The executive producer of "Extension 720 with Milt Rosenburg said "I would say this is the biggest response we've ever got from a campaign or a candidate," he said. "This is really unprecedented with the show, the way that people are flooding the calls and our email boxes." Has anybody checked lately if does Milt Rosenberg still has a job?
Those folks at Fox News are guilty too, not reading that memo placed in their "in boxes"
Things are so serious the Department of Justice has been contacted by the Obama folks, and the Obama truth squad is hard at work in Missouri.
Those of you who appreciate Don Wade and the most positive and optimistic radio program in the universe, you can let him know you appreciate his insights and thank him and Jerry Agar for being a voice for the voiceless........the Conservative Value Voters and the used and abused taxpayers of Illinois. When you live in Crook County you need guys like these with the backbone to say what is true even if the Obama Nazi Corps do not like it. And let Management at WLS know we support our Hometown Heros and as Listeners and Consumers do not appreciate banning FREE SPEECH, even if the "messiah" does.
By the way Don't Dare to even disagree with Obama! AND THAT'S AN ORDER!

Agar is already out

However, I'm guessing it was in the works for some time.

MANCOW? Is WLS management looking to IMPLODE?
Mancow spews nothing but garbage.
The Conservatives in Chicago have lost a great voice.
I intend on complaining to Managementat WLS
ANYONE but MANCOW! He has the intelligence of an 8th grader.

give mancow a shot before you blast him. He is a good conservative!

Mancow is not a conservative!! He is a libertarian (his own words). His political and moral philosophy basically is well evidenced -- anything goes.
I guess WLS has given up trying to compete with WIND for conservative listeners. (BTW – WIND 560 AM has the best talk line up in the Chicago area!).

Mancow and Emmis Communications, the company that owns radio stations on which Mancow's Morning Madhouse is broadcast, have had numerous run-ins with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for broadcasting offensive or obscene material.

Maybe WLS will bring back the conservative, warrior princess herself, Teri O'Brien?

Nothing personal, but you people are stupid. Mancow has/had a younger audience and one that doesn't usually listen to political talk. He basically talks a conservative/libertarian angle with entertainment (obviously which most here disagree with). He allows us to communicate to the YOUNGER audience we rarely get to speak too. Most of his run ins with FCC were from years ago and most which were bogus. We need Mancow. Quit fighting with him. Fight the liberal trash talk if anything. Not the conservative/libertarian talk even if it is trashy (in your opinion).

Rightwinger,
I beg differ with you -- most of the run-ins with the FCC were not bogus. I should know -- I filed the 70 complaints against his show. (The FCC only reviewed half of them.)
I still have the transcripts and audio recording, if you'd like to see for yourself.
Moreover, the validity of the complaints are the very reason why his former bosses "voluntarily" paid $300,000 to the U.S. Treasury to make it go away.
I truly hope his new show on WLS is different than his “Madhouse” program was a few years ago. He is extremely talented and does not need to go to the gutter to be entertaining.

Extremely talented?? Hmmmmm. Right now, I don't see a huge advantage with him replacing Jerry Agar. His cadence makes me nauseated. Jerry was much easier to listen to.
