Update on Obama Gestapo in St. Louis County
by Mark Rhoads
On Saturday, Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt (R) issued a statement reacting to the News Channel 4 (NBC) story in St. Louis about the county prosecutor confusing his official duties as a prosecutor with his political role as an Obama supporter. Here is the governor's statement:
JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.
St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.
“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.
“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of
“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting

The left again betrays it's Stalinist roots, and if it is also reminiscent of Gestapo tactics, it is because there is not a significant difference bevtween Nazis and Communists.

Obama is truly showing himself to be as far to the left as Stalin. If you look at political views as a circle, you'll see moderate Dems and Reps in the center. The further you go to the left and right, eventually the two will meet at the top, which is why there really wasn't a lot of difference between Stalin and Hitler.
This stunt, along with his sicing of his "followers" on media outlets which give voice to his opponents, just goes to show how far to the left Komrad Obama truly is.

Way for Gov. Blunt to stand up like this - a consistent leader in government transparency, this kind of political tomfoolery should not be tolerated - no matter what party promotes this kind of thuggish intimidation. Free speech and the right to vote for whomever and whatever you want is vital to ensuring the democratic process, so kudos to Blunt for voicing opposition to these underhanded tactics by the Obama campaign.
