During the August break, Illinois Review had a chance to visit with freshman Congressman Peter Roskam and ask him questions about his first term representing the 6th CD in DC. The day we visited, it hadn't been too long since Roskam returned home after participating in the post-adjournment impromptu Republican protest to Speaker Pelosi's blockade on the crucial energy bill.
Roskam's following this theme in his current political ad being shown in Chicago's western suburban 6th CD. We started to write about this and then thought maybe you'd just like to hear the Congressman's response for yourself. Over the next few days, we'll give you a chance to hear other segments of the discussion on other topics.
This Saturday, Congressman Roskam will be celebrating a birthday and he's invited some of the young Republicans he's teaming up with in DC to join him. If you'd like to ask him some questions yourself, he's sure to be willing to answer.
