In case you missed it: O'Reilly vs Obama

For college grads --"perspicacious" means "having keen mental perception and understanding; discerning: to exhibit perspicacious judgment."

O'Reilly did a fine job -- I love it that he interrupted instead of sitting there in awe of the senator's normally very lonnggg answers.

Obama showed how he's unwilling to admit error -- contrast to McCain's use of words "broken" and "imperfect" in describing himself during last night's speech.

What's your thoughts -- how did Obama do?  How did O'Reilly do?  Will you watch the second interview coming up tonight?

I don't particularly care for O'Reilly, but he asked good, important questions. And I think Obama fielded them well with straightforward answers. O'Reilly has his particular approach and loves to get in the last word, and he was met with a calm, respectful, thoughtful candidate. The remaining segments should be very interesting.

I guess I didn't see an unwillingness to "admit error." What I saw was a simple question applied to an incredibly complex set of circumstances. Was the surge successful? Obama answered plainly: yes, the surge has succeeded in lowering incidents of violence in Iraq. But in other respects, we are still waiting -- desperately -- for promised results.

McCain never has admitted he was wrong about anything... including the Iraq war which was based on nothing but falsified documents and erroneous cherry picked intel...

at least admit that had he known the evidence was BS or if the evidence wasn't enough he would have said no.. that would even be a plus. No not the maverick.

nooo, instead he made his famous "next stop Bagdad".... before the Bush admin push for war with Iraq...

Hmmm should have been next stop Afganistan/Pakistan? he was wrong about that too...

From the beginning Obama was against the war considering a distraction... he did support increased military action in Afganistan.

Last night no mention of Afganistan or Pakistan... just Iran and Georgia the places he thinks Osama bin Laden are hiding I suppose.

John McCain the Manchurian candidate....

Will,
since you have errors in your post, have you reached moral equivalence yet?

Obama isn't wrong about anything in his own mind. Ever.

Captain Queeg was more at ease than Kid Hope.

Should have the steel balls rolling in his mitts all next week.

Just to add the original poster said he enjoyed watching O'Reilly interupt Obama...

hypocrites, if someone had done that to McGeriatric or Sarah "the speach reader" Palin you would have been up in arms... pooping your pants...

Just when is McCain and Palin gonna be doing interviews on MSNBC??? they gonna represent all of america not just bible thumpers.

Will,
We're open to your comments, of course, but will not allow you to use IR to promote lies. We've removed that particular section of your 9:52 PM diatribe for that reason.
Please note -- you've been warned before. You seem to stay steady for a while, and then every once in a while, something happens that sends you back into irrationality and your hatred seeps back to the surface.
Don't let that happen again.
I actually enjoy seeing LIBs squirm and you've done your share this week.
