A friend just called to ask my thoughts about Hillary's speech last night, and although IR commenter Aurora GOP doesn't understand why IR is touching on the DNC, I did have just a few thoughts - the same everyone else has had, I'm sure.
It's what Hillary didn't say last night that's got everyone's attention.
She didn't say she had confidence in Obama as the next president.
And who didn't catch the fact that she b-slapped the former President by omitting him in Tuesday night's first sentence:
"I am here tonight as a proud mother, as a proud Democrat, as a proud senator from New York, a proud American and a proud supporter of Barack Obama," she said.
Wow. No mention of being the proud wife of "the first black president of the United States."
Or the fact that she's beat Michelle Obama on that one, too.
Take that!
