-- Quinnipiac U. poll: ageism may hurt McCain more than racism hits Obama.- Lynn Sweet
(DIERSEN: Contrary to what some argue, members of all age groups can engage in ageism, members of all races can engage in racism, and both men and women can engage in sexism. Tragically, the Democrat Party platform promotes ageism, racism, and sexism. It encourages everyone to blame all their problems on everyone who is older than they are; it encourages minorities to blame all their problems on Whites, especially on Whites who are older, conservative, and male; and it encourages women to blame all their problems on men. Between 1966 and 1997, my liberal Democrat superiors at the Post Office, IRS, and GAO were hell bent on implementing the Democrat Party platform. They severely punished anyone who did not help them give preference to minorities and to females, especially to those who were younger. As everyone knows, to give preference to one age group, one race group, or one gender group is to discriminate against another age group, another race group, or another gender group.)
