Ozinga parades in 11th CDs LaSalle County

LA SALLE COUNTY, IL - 11th Congressional District candidate Marty Ozinga had the opportunity Saturday to spend time with La Salle County voters in their own backyard. In Ottawa, Ozinga joined in with the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the first Lincoln-Douglas Debate at Washington Square, the site of the historic first debate.

Ozinga then spent the afternoon walking in the Lions Fest Parade in Earlville with Little Leaguers, firefighters and horseback riders. The parade, which was sponsored by the local Lions Club, gave Marty the chance to chat with parade-goers about the issues that matter to them. Over the next few months, he hopes to become more familiar with the people of La Salle County.
