Unlike some Illinois Republicans, former State Senator Steve Rauschenberger seems to have the courage to consistently tell the truth about our own Barack Obama. Along with appearances on Fox News (here) and Jeff Berkowitz (here), Rauschenberger was quoted today in a Wall Street Journal (here).
In it, Rauschenberger notes:
"Barack was one of the smartest people I ever worked with, but he was more interested in moving up," says Republican Steven Rauschenberger, who served with Mr. Obama in the state senate. "I never thought he was very engaged in the state senate, because he didn't think that much of it."
