Well, You Know....I'm Obama

by John Ruskin

From the Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet we get this additional Obama treasure from his Sunday interview.

When asked why he went to Tony Rezko - under investigation for corruption at the time - for assistance in buying his mansion and an adjacent parcel, Obama responded:

"Well, you know, I think that, you know, we had bought a house for the first time and, you know, we were trying to figure out how to set the whole thing up and, you know, this is somebody that I had known for some time."

Well, you know, I guess Barack was weary again when he gave this interview. And, you know, he is prone to lying. So, you know, it should come as no surprise that the house in question was NOT the first house he and Michelle had purchased. You know, they bought a condo in Hyde Park prior to moving on up to Kenwood.

As Sweet noted - perhaps Barack was making a distinction between buying a "condominium" and buying a "home". I guess he's just another lefty Democrat who likes to parse words. You know?
