Hope Abortion Clinic in headlines again

The Hope Abortion Clinic in Granite City, Illinois has appeared in the headlines numerous times in the past few years because of questionable procedures.  Business continues as usual because Illinois turns it's head when it comes to ugly business of abortion.

This time Hope Clinic performed an abortion on a 15 year old rape victim from Arkansas who was forced by her rapist to have the abortion.  Apparently the clinic does not care who brings in the pregnant victim, or the circumstances of her pregnancy, as this case, like many others, was never reported to the authorities.

According to the report by Cordell Whitlock from St. Louis television KSDK , a picture of the rapist's Arkansas license was provided to authorities by Angela and Daniel Michael. Because of the vigilance of the Michaels, the Bryant, Arkansas police currently have the perpetrator in jail.   The Michael's head an organization called "Small Victories," and they keep a watchful eye on the clinic.

Angela Michaels, a registered nurse, takes a sonogram of willing "mothers-to-be" and then shows them the picture of  their babies "auditioning for their lives."  She maintains her vigil in front of the abortion clinic to help the women who become the victims of the whole money scheme of abortion.   Angela works unpaid from an aging van she drives daily to the abortion clinic.

Since Illinois does not have a parental notification law,  young girls from neighboring states use the abortion capitol of Illinois as their dumping ground for aborting babies without their parent's knowledge or consent.

Illinois legislators should be ashamed for not passing legislation to protect these children.  Senator Dick Durbin was reported to have stopped the passing of a federal law regarding parental notification this past year.  He did this by not permitting the appointment of conferees to finalize the bills which were passed by both the house and the senate.

Angela and Daniel Michael watch over these young women at great sacrifice to their own finances.  2013 babies have been saved since January of 2000 and 23 babies have been adopted because of the commitment of the Michaels.  Their van containing the sonogram equipment, signs and other resources is in the repair shop.  They need help to get their van back in operation....even a small donation would be appreciated.

If anyone feels led to help the Michaels with the repair of their van, so they don't miss helping a needy woman or young girl who is seeking an abortion at the Hope Clinic, please send to:   Small Victories,  P.O. Box 143, Highland, IL 62249
