IR Star Conservative of the Week: Will County's Barb Kneynsberg
This week, IR recognizes Barb Kneynsberg (on left in photo), a conservative activist who is in the thick of Republican politics in one of the nation's top ten fastest growing counties.
Entering Will County politics as a homeschooling mother of four, Barb and her kids made their first impact on their community ten years ago while working hard for former State Rep Al Salvi's bid for the U.S. Senate. Since that time, she's become a GOP precinct committeeman and serves on the New Lenox Library Board.
All that, while now working with the Will County justice system to help families suffering violence in their homes. Barb's latest project was working hard to get petition signatures on the Protect Marriage Initiative and one she successfully enlisted is Judge Michael Powers, now Republican candidate for Third District Appellate Court.
Barb has been active in her local church, in Concerned Women for America and Eagle Forum, as well as a local homeschooling group all the time her and her husband Brian's kids were growing up. Now they're teens, one a senior at Patrick Henry College in Virginia, another in nursing school and two finishing up their high school diplomas.
IR salutes Barb Kneynsberg for her energy, passion and commitment to promoting traditional family values in Will County. She's our IR Star Conservative of the Week.

Excellent choice. Barb is a person of action. Effective and always consistently conservative.
